SILVER MARROW SCOOP A George III solid silver marrow scoop , fully hallmarked for London 1768, with the makers mark for George Gray overstruck on probably a Hester Bateman mark. This lovely scoop is constructed from a heavy guage of silver, of traditional form and is in extremely fine condition for its considerable age. There are no dings or repairs and no wear to the bowl tips. The rear of the larger bowl features an heraldic crest. The scoop measures 20.5cms in length and weighs a heavy 52g, this is a nice collectable piece of Georgian silver . Please see my other auctions for more quality antiques and collectables.
