Handmade Solid Silver Jewelry/ Trinket Box, simply beautiful, recently purchased at an estate sale from an elderly woman who stated her great grandfather made the piece. Eastern European in descent this is a wonderful piece. t are no markings what so ever, but it has been tested to confirm the silver content. Solid silver scrap value, at a hefty 28 ounces is well over $400. This piece is too nice to even think about melting, estimated to be 1850-1860 in origin, wonderful roses abound with beautiful floral wrappings. With a liner this piece would make a wonderful addition to anyones collection.
