Solid Silver Octagonal Sugar Shaker Chester 1908 Barker Brothers Antique Description Please scroll down for additional pictures. This is a beautiful solid silver sugar shaker. The shaker features a stylish octagonal panelled design on top of a tapered base. The shaker features a detachable lid that is pierced with star decoratively designed holes. The pot has marks for Chester 1908 with the makers mark for Barker Bros (Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker) The piece weighs approximately 75g and is approximately 6.5" tall.Condition wise, the piece has surface scratching and wear commensurate with age. Some small undulations, squashes and pin prick dings dotted throughout the piece. The piece has some very small pin pricks holes around the widest band where the piece has been polished through over the years. Sounds bad, but it does not detract from the beauty of the piece. Some small splits on the cap on the edges. Please remember this is an antique piece and so such wear is to be expected. INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE IS AN ESTIMATE.
