Welcome to my auction Today I have what is left of my great grandfathers estate who was a miner and pigeon fancier from Yorkshire. This is a solid silver cigarette case with a signed hand painted picture of a racing pigeon. I can only assume that it was won as a prize or it is one of his birds. It is curved to fit snug in pocket, it is just perfect for roll-ups. Condition is very good with just a couple of minor dents, the catch, hinge and sprung lid all in perfect working order, it does need new elastic. Maker Martin Hall & Co. Year 1910 Assayed Birmingham Size 85mm x 70mm. Weight 80.1 grams Please study photos as they form part of the description Low start, good luck MORE GREAT SILVER AT www.
