This is a superb quality, pristine solid silver teaset in a very traditional pattern made by Frank Cobb & Co., Sheffield, England with a full set of English hallmarks on each piece for 1984. The cream and sugar are gilt lined and the whole set shows little or no sign of wear or use; this was most likely a treasured wedding gift which took pride of place in the drawing room display cabinet since it was made. The coffee pot measures 8" high and 10.5" from spout to handle; teapot 6" high and 12.25" from spout to handle; sugar 3" high and 8.25" handle to handle; cream 2.5" high and 5.25" from spout to handle. We pride ourselves on our customer service and pack with extreme care, so please email if you have any questions and check out our feedback. We have set a very conservative starting bid and have not wasted time with a hidden reserve, so happy bidding!
The weight of each piece is as follows: Coffee Pot 1 lb. 8.2 oz. ; Tea Pot 1 lb. 9.3 oz. ; Sugar Bowl 11.3 oz.; Cream Jug 5.7 oz.
