“Just to share an interesting story with you.
Actually I don't have enough money to buy the thing that I want from my friend.
After I email you that day, I strike a small lottery price which the money is just nice to pay my friend full.
The night before, I was holding the wealth somdej amulet that you sold me last time.
(The one that is made of scarce wood, black in colour with gold frame)

A few years ago, I happened to read a pocket book which gathered many kinds of amulets inside. Having read the book, I was quite interested in an article about Somdej Ngiw Dam at Wat(temple) Mai Ban Dorn and that made me need to find time to drive to the temple which is in up-country about 3 to 4 hours driving distance far from Bangkok. On Oct-20-08, I drove to the Wat and that was the first time that I obtained a few Somdej Ngiw Dam from the monk in the Wat (please see in the pictures). Since then, if I had a chance to pass the Wat, I always visit the Wat to obtain more Ngiw Dam amulets. Lately, I could get a special-version of Somdej Ngiw Dam which is a bit bigger than earlier version but is still very compact (not big) which is the size that is comfortable for wearing.
