Composition 14 " Sonja Henie doll by Madame Alexander. She certainly is a pretty doll, she is in nice condition and displays beautifully. Her face is lovely, she still retains her original painted facial features, including her pink blush cheeks, smokey eyeshadow, painted lower lashes and perfect eye brows. She is missing the lashes on her right eye. She has an open mouth with four teeth, her golden brown eyes are crystal clear, and have no crackling, like many of the Sonja Henie dolls of that era do. She has her original blonde mohair wig, which is quite full. She has faint crazing on her face and wear marks on her joints. Her coloring is excellent. She is wearing her original leather skates, but the blades are missing. Her skating outfit is made from the Mary Hoyer pattern called "Victory". The outfit is in mint condition. It is a pretty shade of pink, with white. This doll is priced at less than book value, which is hundreds of dollars.
