Hi everyone! This Corgi is making sure Santa notices his house by positioning himself in the chimney on a snowy rooftop. The chimney is decorated with a holly garland and gold star and for extra festivity the Corgi's got on a big red bow and a holly wreath on his head.I ran out of time with all my other ornament ideas, so sadly this is the last one for this year. Each ornament is designed to be the only of its kind, created by rolling out my clay and sketching my idea directly onto it. After cutting out the outline, details are sculpted in, carved out, painted or added on in clay. Two high temperature kiln firings left this with a permanent glazed finish to forever protect the color and detail. A third firing added 22kt. to the star.This ornament is plain and flat on the back w I've signed and dated it, Barbie Sonnett 2006. A small hole in the top to accommodate a gold cord could also be used to hang this on the wall with a tiny nail. Measurements: 4 1/8" high, 3 1/4" at the widest, and 1/4" thick.I've been selling my animal sculpture as a fulltime profession since 1982, and for the past 5 1/2 years on eBay.
