An original t-shirt from the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club (Oakland, CA) circa 1976, featuring the slogan "FREE SONNY BARGER", with a great graphic of two hands in handcuffs. The t-shirt has a size Large tag, but due to shrinkage is more like a size Medium (shirt is exceptionally well preserved save for the shrinkage). Sonny Barger is the noted figurehead of the legendary Hells Angels biker club, and was incarcerated from approximately 1973 to 1977, before being released on parole and cleared from all aggravated charges. This is an exceptionally rare offering for auction, and a true artifact from outlaw biker culture.
