This is the very sought after Sony CRF-5100 world orbitor mutiband radio. This radio is pretty impressive, the face and controls have a very high gloss shine, multiple controls and great sound. The front cover folds down and slides into the body of radio and does snap back into place to protect the controls as it should, please notice in the 5th picture a couple of dings on the top portion of cover, this is the only damage I have found on this unit. The rear cover snaps into place perfectly as it should, the battery compartment looks great, just a little tarnished from years of no use. The original power cord is tucked away inside. This radio has been in the family for quite some time and to my knowledge has not been turned on for several years until now. I turned it on and was able to pick up several stations, but on some of the bands was unable to tune in anything. This could be my location, could be the controls need to be cleaned and lubed from lack of use or just that I really don't know how to operate this radio. I believe you will be very happy with this piece of history. Thanks!
