I.Sorby - 1" Ash Handled Brass Ferruled Wood Gouge This is an old I.Sorby 1" gouge, brass ferruled, leather washered & fitted with a ash handle, overall measurements approximately 10", blade 5�" The blade is quite reasonably clean, stained but no corrosion to speak of, and whilst the handle is sound, it does have numerous ex-owner name stamps (he was determined not to lose it!) Overall a nice old tool, full of character, which needs practically nothing in terms of maintenance prior to use, other than a little sharpening!
