THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF WINDSORSALE 7000 NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 11-19, 1997 This is a set of 2 auction catalogs plus a guide to the sale in a slip case. The sale was exclusively devoted to items from the private and public collections of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. All 3 books are in excellent condition. The Private Collections has 541 pages while the Public Collections has 549 pages. Both catalogs are profusely illustrated mostly in color with detailed descriptions giving a full picture of the Windsor life style. The third book is one detailing information about the sale including the sessions as well as an introduction to the Windsors and a chronology of their life together before and after the abdication. This extraordinary catalog will make a fine addition to your collection!
