SUPER POWER & SOUND! This has enough power to run up to 4 single motor G Scale & LGB engines!!! SUPER COOL WAY TO ADD SOUND TO YOUR LGB LAYOUT! This is a used MRC 7000 Transformer that has been tested and works as new! Do you have one of the small LGB 5003 or 51030 transformers that came with the sets? You can NOT run two engines with those small LGB transformers before they overheat and shut off. This transformer (in Mode I, which is for G Scale) has 60 TOTAL VOLT-AMPS of power! The small LGB transformers only have 14 Total Volt-Amps. Mode II is for use in running smaller scale DC powered engines, such as HO and N gauge. Note you can not use this transformer to run "O" gauge trains, which are AC powered. A copy of the original instructions are included. However, there is MORE! This transformer comes with an upgraded mint-in-the-box speaker that is MUCH better than the original one that came with it. There is wire all ready to hook this up! It comes with your choice of diesel or steam sounds, and you can synchronize the sound to match the diesel or chugging sounds to the speed of your engine. Lastly, it has a diesel horn or steam whistle! It also comes with a Momentum switch (and light) - which means that when turned on, the train slows down and speeds up slowly- not instantly like any other transformer.
