One of the 500 original copies pressed in 1987.MATRIX: R-10866/7 History: This single is not a bootleg. I bought it from Bruce in 87 when I lived in Seattle . He said it was his last unsold copy. At the time, he was trying change Sub Pop from a cute little cassette company into a cute little record company and “Hunted Down” was their first effort. I think he had intended to keep this copy for himself, but back then we were all pretty hard-up for cash and I guess on that day I must have been a few bucks less strapped. At that time I had the privilege of working with Seattle ’s best band (Ron, Scott and Shawn, you know who you are… LOL), so I was never as big of a Soundgarden fan as some of my friends. I bought this copy new and played it once to record it onto a 90 minute cassette of singles, which didn’t seem at all ironic at the time. Since then, it has been sitting on the singles shelf in my dining room, untouched until yesterday when I pulled it out to take these pictures. Condition: This copy is as good as new. All examples of this record that I have seen have small paper cracks around read more
