Polish pottery is cadmium and lead free - only natural materials are used throughout the entire production process. Polish pottery is oven, microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe because the artists carefully select their clays. They bake them at the searing temperature of 2,246 degrees Fahrenheit, as a result, it becomes non-porous. The artisans coat all the colored patterns with a transparent, protective glaze in order to prevent wear and food from sticking. As with all stoneware, however, one should avoid sudden, extreme changes in temperature. For best results, bring baking dishes to room temperature before heating. Also, it is best to not cook over 350 degrees for the same reasoning. *All merchandise is handmade and might slightly differ from the picture. Small flaws and imperfections may occur.
