SOUTH BEND POCKET WATCH 19j GRADE 429 ART DECO PENTAGON CASE. This high grade Art Deco scarce pocket watch was produced in 1916. This watch features a scarce Art Deco open face case. Also featured is a scarce white porcelain original dial (less expensive metal dials were used by the 1920s). Clean, running and accurate, this watch is very stylish, even today. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME. DIAL: White porcelain single sunk dial with Art Deco fine Arabic figures signed "SOUTH BEND". MOVEMENT: Twelve size, open face, pendent set, two finger nickel bridge, signed: "429/AdjustedTemp/4 Positions", and "19 Jewels", "Double Roller", #848,042. Hairline exists at the 3 second mark edge which does not distract. CASE: Very near mint snap back and bezel fancy white gold Art Deco five sided original case.
