Two (2) Rare Vintage South Bend Bait Co. "WIZ-ORENO'S" Wood Lures With One (1) Rare Intro Box. New in to South Bend in 1925, this lure had disappeared by 1930. These lures are nice baits as you can see. They are 2 3/4" in length. The lure is basically a Babe-Oreno with a belly mounted hook. The hook has a special swirling propeller with hackle covering the point. There is a tiny nick on the tail of one lure and a tiny chip above the eye on the other lure. These lures can be found on page 548-549 of LUCKEY'S FISHING LURE AND TACKLE IDENTIFICATION GUIDE. It is rare to find one of these highly sought after lures in this condition. The pictures should tell the story. Look at the pictures closely and you decide if want this treasure in your collection. This lure will make a great addition to any collection.
