Probably made in Germany (t is no makers mark) we have a beautiful 6 inch diameter china souvenir plate from South Station in Boston. This dish features a very detailed and colorful image of the terminal as well as lots of gold decoration which is in great condition. T is one small dark spot at about 8 o'clock in the gold on the rim. South Station opened in 1899 and replaced several stations that served the Boston & Providence Railroad, Old Colony, New England and Boston and Albany Railway. Located at Dewey Square, the station served many a train of the NYNH&H (New Haven Railroad) and continues to serve Amtrak to this day. A very pretty piece, it will make an excellent addition to your china and silver plate collection. We accept PayPal and money orders or cashiers checks only. Thank you very much for looking and please take a moment to view our other railroad, steamship, advertising, hotel and restaurant ware listings.
