This auction is for SEVEN SQUARE CAKE or SALAD PLATES, by BLUE RIDGE SOUTHERN POTTERIES. The Pattern is NOCTURNE, the style of the china is called COLONIAL. Each plate measures 6 1/2" square . The rim is flat and edged with red. Each piece is hand painted. Condition is Excellent with Little evidence of use. . . . One plate has a small thin shallow back edge chip which does not affect the face of the plate. Five plates have the PIne Tree Back stamp, (number 6 in Newbound's book), while two have mark number 4 and one is not marked. Please see my other listings should you be interested in this pattern as I have many pieces on eBay now. I am happy to combine lots and ship UPS Ground, which is least expensive for heavier larger packages.
