's one for the clock handyman. A Southern Calendar Clock Company, St. Louis, Mo., Fashion number 2 project clock. This would be an easy project, and guarantee excellent and valuable results. The clock is complete, except for finials. I have a set of good repro finials that I will sell for $75 to the winner. they are the excellent ones LaRose used to sell. The case is mahogany and mahogany veneer. It's original, not to be confused with the chinese repro cases that abound. It needs some veneer replacement around the base and on the top crest, but not too bad at all. t is half a piece of curved molding missing just above the top dial. Both dials are original with exact repro old papers coverning them. If you were to do this one right, you could send them to the dial House to have them make you up a set of painted dials at reasonable cost. Both movements look to be in excellent shape. the upper movement looks like it has been recently serviced. The upper movement is the correct Seth Thomas movment with the Southern Calendar Clock Co. markings. the lower movement looks to be in good condition, and it changes when you pull the connecting wire up and down. The upper hands, key and pendulum look original to me. the lower hand looks like it may be a replacment, but a correct one. The original label is priceless! It shows the clock was made
