This is Southern Pacific San Joaquin Division Employee Timetable #170 - effective July 10, 1949. It is 9 inches wide and 10 ¾ inches high, so it does not quite fit on the scanner. This timetable has 16 pages plus hard tag covers. A division map (shown in one of the scans) appears on the rear cover. The San Joaquin Division extended from Fresno , CA on the north to Saugus , CA on the south and included the "jaw bone" line to Owenyo and the narrow gauge line (remnant of the Carson & Colorado) between Keeler and Laws. In 1949 t was still plenty of passenger service. Between Bakersfield and Mojave t were six trains in each direction (4 SP and 2 ATSF) daily. This timetable was a file copy as indicated by the punched binder holes that show in the scan. Being kept in a binder preserved this 57 year old document. It has no tears and has never been folded. The only writing is the "SAVE" in ink you see on the cover. Postage is included in the bid price - via first class USPS mail to the winning bidder in the US . Please note the seller does not accept electronic payment (like PayPal). Thanks for looking.
