SOUTHWEST RAKU POTTERY TURTLE HAND THROWN BY ARTIST JERMEY DILLER This Southwest Raku pottery turtle was hand thrown by artist Jeremy Diller. The turtle features a smooth geometric shell which contrasts well with the raku body. The turtle figurine was fired in an outdoor kiln at 2000 degrees F. Molton hot and was placed in a pit with dried brush and mesquite shavings that burst into flame. Ambient temperature, wind, and the unique way flames lick a piece each time assure that each Raku piece is one of a kind. This turtle measures approximately 3.5" length not including the tail x about 2.5" width. It is about 1" tall to the tip of the turtle's head. The artwork includes an attached card explaining the piece from the artist. T are no chips or cracks. COMBINED SHIPPING IS AVAILABLE! (Other Native American listings are available this week.)
