This is meant to be a loose choker or regular collar necklace depending on your measurements. It looks gorgeous either way!Other Measurements: Each stone heart bead measures about 3/8 Inches in diameter.Features: This is older and therefore MUCH rarer Q.T. jewelry, possibly back to the late 80's or mid-90's. It is solid sterling silver and weighty, and the heart-shaped lapis stones are absolutely a delight. Everything is threaded onto traditional cloth beading twine We looked all over for another like this, even looking into rumors regarding QVC appearances by Q.T., etc., and still could not find this particular piece. Unlike some other, more common Q.T. designs, this one will not be procurable again at any foreseeable point.Stone: Lapis lazuli, regular/jewelry grade. For my crystal-loving buffs - Lapis is an ancient stone which has been regarded by monarchs and regents as representative of royalty. It is said to bestow wisdom and allow for greater knowledge to come into its wearer's life, as well as assist with communication and leadership. King Tut's sarcophagus was partially decorated with lapis!Condition: V ery good, vintage, estate condition. All silver and stone beads present. Minimum wear per age including very shallow scratches and tiny dings visible with a 10x loupe. This is estate jewelry and is also handmade out of solid silver, so this kind of light wear is normal and not really noticeable. This necklace does have a very light patina, so if you would like us to polish before shipment, just let us know.Age: Young Vintage to Contemporary - late 1980's to late 90's, though due to the lack of pieces to compare it to, we don't know for sure. We did find out Q.T. or Quoc Turquoise Inc. has been open since the early 80's.
