This is a souvenir china shaving mug. Mug measures 3 1/2" high x 3 1/2" across not including the handle. The inside is white; outside top is a robin egg blue which fades down to an ivory color at the bottom and is embellished with a gold floral pattern. Caption reads Scene on Mousam River, Springvale, ME. Beautifully detailed scene edged with gold. I cannot find any problems with this piece. T are no chips, cracks or smudges, except for a small crack in the glaze on the bottom just above the makers mark. This crack does not go through to the bottom of the inside which is why I belive only the glaze is cracked. Bottom is marked Flosom Bros. Springvale, Me. Most souvenir pieces like this one were made during the late 1800's, early 1900's. Buyer pays $5.00 shipping plus insurance. Sales tax charged to PA residents.
