Yes, it is a "Souvenir-shop item." It is a cross-section of the 287,000 volt ac transmission cable by which the dam powered Los Angeles. But it is unique, in that It was acquired in 1936, and it is labled as Boulder Dam, the accepted name at that time. Uncommon collectible.
