"WOW" it's like going in a time machine back 119 years and picking up your souvenir coin for your ascension to the top of the Eiffel Tower during the Paris Exposition in 1889. Not only is this commemorative coin "MINT" I mean probably never seen the light of day for a hundred years but finding this in the original case is a find of finds ! . I have seen the coin but "NEVER" "EVER" with the case and being in this condition. One side of the coin in French mentions remember my ascension to the top of the Eiffel Tower in addition inscribed is the lucky person of that time with the initials G.H. 5th of Octob, 1889. On the same side in real small lettering it goes on to mention something in French about a metal factory in France. The great stuff is on the back in French it goes on to say work on the monument began Jan 1887 and ending May 1889 . Further it shows all the beautiful man made structures of greatness all the way back to the pyramid I also see the Washington Monument , St. Paul Cathedral, Church of Notre Dame , also the Basilica in Rome and the Pantheon etc. At the bottom near each structure shows the height in meters and of course the Eiffel Tower being at 300 meters was indeed the tallest of the time......................
