The Sovereign Queens Spoon Collection - Limited Edition 1977
This Sovereign Queens Spoon Collection was commissioned to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 1977 and were made as a strictly limited edition.
Each solid silver spoon in inlaid both front and back with cameos of previous Sovereign Queens embellished in 24 carat gold on sterling silver.
The Queens are;
Mary I
Elizabeth I
Mary II
Ann,
Victoria and
Elizabeth II.
These spoons are set into a presentation case, and finally boxed with a Certificate of Authenticity and a booklet describing information about each Queen.
Also included is the original paperwork and letters to the collector including the initial invitation to purchase, and confirmation letter from the Director General of The English Speaking Union of the Commonwealth.
Each spoon is approximately 138mm long and approximately 25g in weight. Total weight of Sterling Silver is approximately 150g
