Sovereign 5- string banjo w/case in org. beautiful cond Description:Sovereign Style No. 5835, 5- string banjo with beautiful art deco resonator, with case in beautiful original condition. There are some very small scratches and wear in just a couple spots. I believe most of these can actually be polished out. Instrument will need new strings. Head appears to be the original, and in good shape. Bridge is probably the original also. Case has some wear, small pocket has the door missing. Included is the original sales tag with style number and care tips. Two music books, Mel Bay's Fun with the Banjo and The 5-string banjo technique by Jim Smoak, are include. There are two metal picks marked Grover, two plastic picks, a glass slide tube, and the original wrench are also included with the instrument. I personally do not play, I just like to sell instruments, so I can't tell you if the action is fast and smooth or that the tones are just brilliant. I can say the instrument is in excellent condition for a 30 some year old instrument. I can answer any questions you might have and send you more pictures if you like. I have not cleaned, repaired, restored or altered this instrument in anyway. A very nice original condition instrument ready for you to tune, start playing, and enjoying.
