Nearly mint condition Soviet Major General (1 Star) M1943 Tunic. This tunic was used from 1943 until 1949 when uniform regulations changed to the double breasted style. One of the most sought after Soviet World War 2 uniforms. T is lots of writing inside the tunic and a maker label on the inside pocket. The 9 place ribbon bar is the seldom seen WW2 style and features 2 Red Banners, 1 Patrotic War 1st class, 3 Red Stars, 1 Order of Katuzov 2nd Class, 1 Order of Glory, and Medal for the Capture of Berlin. I have been told that the ribbons on the buttons tell something about the time period of the tunic so I tried to show one. I count 5 bands on each side of the seal. The slip on shoulder boards are held in place at the button with what looks like short gold colored laces.
