This is a Soviet table medal set with cards also enclosed. These are around 55 to 60mm and are made of aluminum and both front and back are professionally finished. They were made by the Leningrad mint (The official mint of the Soviet Union) and are referenced below as to the page number and the item number from the book, "Commemorative Table Medals of the Soviet Period, 1919-1991" Very desirable and collectible as these table medals had to survive not only from when they were made till the end of the Soviet Union but also after the Soviet Union fell till today, when most of these were considered just garbage. This will be a fantastic addition to anyone’s Soviet Union collection or just as a great conversation piece about a super power country that no longer exists. My items are authentic and made in the Soviet Union during the Soviet time period. All items are very rare and most likely unique as many of the artifacts from the Soviet time period have been thrown away, lost or destroyed. As more and more people begin collecting these items, they will most likely keep increasing in value. I will only ship to confirmed paypal addresses. This set was a 50th anniversary set of the Komsomol in the 1960's. The Komsomol was the last and most important youth organization that served as an important training ground for Party and other Soviet officials. This set comes with it's original box and amazingly the original cards that show each medal and also when the Komsomol was awarded the highest Soviet honors. On the inside, there are many pictures depicting the Soviet life of the time. They are all Leningrad medals as follows: Item #270, #271, #272, #273, #316, and #641.
