Up for auction is a wonderful art deco style glass partial nude lady figure flower frog with orignal bowl, made by the English company Sowerby. This lady is sitting on a tree stump and has her arms down, you usually see her with her arms folded. My colors in the pictures may not come thru as true as I would like but she and the bowl are a light frosted pink, with the bowl's outside being darker. This delightful set is truly beautiful and almost perfect. The only things I see to describe are a few air bubbles on the bowl along with a couple of stress marks and minute flea bites from the form it was made from (I believe) and it's original manufacture. The lady on the stump measures apx. 7" high with the round bottom with the flower holes (the frog part) being apx. 3 1/4" in diameter. The bowl is 9 1/2" in diameter and stands 2 3/4" tall. The bottom of the bowl is decorated with moulded roses. The lady herself has a folded towel draped across her lap and is very detailed from toes, fingers, face and hair etc. I hope the pictures will give you a good sense of how she looks. Please e-mail with zipcode/country for postal costs as between the two of them, they are quite heavy and I'm note sure I've got E-bay's weight method down pat yet! I understand this item is from the 1930's. Payment by cashier's check, money order or PayPal result read more
