Mint Never Hinged MH: Mint Hinged NG: No GumFace on Mars:The Face on Mars image was recorded during a Viking mission in the 1970s. The speculation was heavily fueled by the scientist Richard C. Hoagland (who offered the set for $10,000). Common asking prices (in newspaper adds, etc.) for the set were $2500 - $5000, and there were many takers. Richard Hoagland, ex-NASA consultant explained that a pyramid in the stamp Face On Mars exists but NASA has cover it up to the public. So the picture on the stamp is the original photo taken by the Viking.The Face On Mars stamp set was issued around 1990 for the upcoming Observer mission to Mars. This Grenada set followed the Sierra Leone set. These stamps were legal postage in Grenada, a small Carribean island.Additotional Information:I purchased a dozens of stamp set in November 1992 from Alan Feinshtein Foundation ( A philanthrophic organization) and it has been carefully stored since then.
