SOLAR-X SPACE ROCKET by Nomura (TN) **!** **From a smoke-free home** For your bidding pleasure is an extremely rare SOLAR-X SPACE ROCKET by Nomura. It is fully operational with all functions depicted on the box. Circa 1966, nearly 50 years old. The rocket itself is in excellent condition for its age with no cracks or dents. Battery compartment is very clean. The box has modest shelf-wear but it was made out of cardboard and its overall condition for its age is very good. There is a small tear near the front bottom. It comes complete with original box inserts and even the rubber nose piece that is often missing. The rocket powered by two D batteries (not included) makes a constant buzzing sound with lights flashing in the nose and afterburners. After a few seconds the rocket lifts up as if to launch while retracting its wings, then lowers itself. When it is horizontal the wings flip back out. Watch the video. This is a no reserve with a low beginning bid. Don’t let this one get away. This is another collector item that is a must have.
