A Spanish American war era bronze(?) doorstop? I have seen exact casting with the clock in the center, not sure what this was supposed to be. Bought it as a doorstop but seems too top heavy and inefficient to be much of a doorstop. It is interesting though, and in great shape and nice patina. No condition issues noticed, backside is marked PAT. APLD.-then in very faint casting-PATENTED APRIL 28TH-1899. Will guarantee satisfaction for any reason or no reason.
