Spanish American War Uniform with Hat, Dog Tags IDed to Henry Roberts Co. A 42nd US Vol. Infantry Lowell Mass. are all in very good condition. The Blue tunic is in condition with a plush wool finish some moth damage under the arms and a couple of small holes on the back. Stamped on the lining in the arms and what looks like a name that does not match the Dog Tags, for what ever reason, the Dog Tags came were believed to be the owner of the uniform and we will sell them as such. The pants have some wear on the inseam and mild moth damage around the crotch. But most of the rest are remarkable condition. Stamped and numbered on the inside with some period sweat marks. The Hat is great, in very good condition and very hard to find also found with the uniform and believed to be an original part of the uniform. Made or Retailed by "Frank Burgess Inc. Meriden, Conn". The leggings are in very good condition and marked on the inside "M.C. Conners" possibly the maker or original owner... Please view our other auctions for related items.
