PLEASE NOTE; THE NUN WHO GAVE US THESE PAINTINGS PROVIDED THE CANVAS WITH THE PAINTING ON IT. YOU NEED TO SUPPLY THE FRAME. We had the privilege two years ago of meeting a cloistered nun in Cusco, Peru who is an artist and reproduces the paintings in her monastery, and on occassion is commissioned through her Mother Superior to paint Saints or particular religious themes. She does this as one of her contributions to her Sisters and to the upkeep of the monastery building. Sister Teresa does not want a lot of publicity or fame and almost never signs her work. With the consent of the Mother Superior we have agreed to offer her work on E Bay in the United Stated. The starting auction price just about covers her cost of materials, what you decide to bid above that, is truly what they will have left over. The canvas for this Painting was donated by Wilber Sarmiento who owns a frame shop in Cusco. The nun asks me to pass that along... Each painting is on an 15 by 11 canvas and they are done in oil.
