On offer in this auction is 'POLLY POCKET' 'SPARKLING MERMAID AD VENTURE' 'ENCHANTED STORYBOOKS' COMPACT 1995 by BLUEBIRD TOYS plc Bluebird Toys of Swindon, England 'scooped the pool' when they began producing the 'POLLY POCKET' range These incredible 'toys' have always held a fascination for both children and adults alike. The 'sheer scale and intricacy of detail in each piece is quite breathtaking and the novelty value of these superb creations never wavers. All these items on sale in my listings are from a personal collection gained over many, many years, carefully looked after, cleaned and stored. Unfortunately, due to space limitations my wife has to now part with her little 'treasures', hopefully though someone else will gain as much pleasure from these beautiful 'little gems' as she has. ~:~ Here we have The 'SPARKLING MERMAID ADVENTURE' - 'ENCHANTED STORYBOOKS' Compact manufactured in 1995 is such a simple concept but has lots of play value. Over the years many of these little items get lost or broken and of course the little 'Polly Dolls' have an annoying habit of just 'walking off'....... but this lovely item in pristine condition also complete , comes to you c/w 'MERMAID' with long red wavy hair and a 'MERMAID' who has Blonde hair and a Gold Crown with another 'MERMAID with long Blonde hair and a Lavender flowered hair Lei. In addition there is a Seahorse, a Dolphin, a Turtle and a Clamshell. OVERSEAS & UK BUYERS - If you are buying multiple items from me please wait for an invoice, this will save you money on P&P. This item does have a Purple case not blue as shown in the photographs, this is a fault on the digital camera. This compact is a light-up type as shown in the photographs.
