Spawn Phonecard Japan Import Media Works 1992 Mint DESCRIPTION
You are bidding on a rare Spawn telephone card imported from Japan. This card was manufactured by Media Works Japan in 1992 for Todd McFarlane Productions, inc. Like all Japanese telephone cards the actual size is 2 1/8 by 3 3/8 inches. We can ship multiple telephone cards together for no extra fee, so be sure to check our eBay Store for more telecards. Anyone who has been to Japan has seen the beautiful telephone cards that are inserted into public phones to pay for a call. They are made out of laminated plastic with magnetic ink on the reverse. In the late 1980s these cards started to become collector's items. Since then it has become very popular to collect unused telephone cards, similar to stamp collecting. The beautiful images from anime have lent themselves to telephone cards and t are many available. As cards go out of print, the prices appreciate, and some rare cards are worth hundreds of dollars. All the cards we sell on eBay are unused and contain 50 telephone units. (Similar to stamps, a used card is only worth a fraction of the value of its unused counterpart.
