Incredible 150 year old sapphire and diamond ring in 18K (marked) rose gold. Raised gallery holds vivid 1.0CT blue sapphire ( my receipt says sapphire but I believe it may be glass as was the custom then) and 8 fine rose cut diamonds clean and white! The diamonds were tested and are genuine old, and now quite rare, diamonds. Each weighs about 15pts for a total diamond weight of 1CT! Ring is a little shy of 1/2" north to south and a true work of art. A very elegant ring presently a size 6 and easily resized by your jeweler. Buyer to pay 12.00 insured shipping with Paypal only. 3-31-07 I took the ring to my jeweler who thinks the center stone may indeed be a sapphire! It shows some surface wear and t is a small "bubble" visible in the stone under magnification. It will take a high powered microscope evaluation to be 100% sure, however! This ring creates a stir wver it goes! JB
