Hello and welcome to my auction. I have decided so sell some extra art which I have collected over the years. I collect mainly art of the Modern and Impressionist era. I have come across some interesting pieces through the years. I mostly bought these painting at local European art markets, when travelling to different countries, like Portobelo antique market in London or Berlin Saturday antique market. I also visit many antique shops and buy whatever I find interesting, also some are gifts form friends but due to size of my appartmnt not all can be displayed. I hope some of you will appreciate these works of art... ....Here presented Is a beautiful post-impressionist sketch, signed Vincent van Gogh - on the lower right margin. This drawing came form a large folio of different drawings which I acquired duringe my stay in Paris. This work on paper shows a study of countryside, in particular cypress in te fields, a typical subject of the artist throughout his whole career. The medium used is graphite on paper, the paper appears aged . I have a COA with the documentation for this artwork, this is one of the drawings form a large folio of different drawings which I acquired duringe my stay in Paris , no more provenance on this piece, and i was unable to confirm the documents.
