Cloth boards lithographed in a wrap-around design. Whitman's remembrance of the Civil War from his trip to a battlefield in Virginia to look for his brother. He remained there, "mostly in and around Washington visiting and comforting the wounded, until the end of the War." Note: Scan of spines is to show several books currently on auction.
