Hi! Welcome to our auctions! We hope you enjoy looking at the Beautiful Antique and Vintage Quilts we offer to you(at no reserve) and perhaps you may find one you would love to have in your home to display or use* From time to time we also offer Wonderful Collectable Quilts that range in age from 5-20 years old.We find almost all of these wonderful treasures at Estate Sales and Antique Shops in Missouri. Today we have for your consideration a *Spectacular Antique 1920's-1930's Ocean Waves Quilt that comes from Texas. This graphic beauty has never been used or washed. It is in *Crisp Pristine Condition* The handquilting is done in meticulous tiny stitches at 6-8 spi*. Just l ook at the wonderful variety of Feedsack used! The colors are fabulous red, orange, green, black, blue and more and, as you can see, they are still Vivid and show true with Little to No fading* The batting is cotton and the reverse is muslin which is carried over to the front to form the 1/4" hand stitched binding. The measurements are 65x85 which, depending on which was you lay it, will fit a twin to full size bed but could also be used as a coverlet on a queen size. The pattern on this quilt is made up of 1&1/2" x 3" triangles..all hand pieced* The red diamond shaped blocks measure 6". Photo #4 shows the pretty floral print fabric that was used for the 2&3/4" border on one end of the quilt. T is no wear or flaws. As shown in photo #12 I did find an area with a few teeny tiny specs of something on the fabric that possibly got t from storage? T is some discoloration on the muslin reverse side probably from storage also. These are minor issues that do not effect the sheer beauty of this *Spectacular Quilt* I do have the name and some history of the wonderfully talented woman that created this quilt and I will send it to the winning bidder.
