Offered for your consideration is spectacular older custom hunting knife from renowned maker Ed Kalfayan. Kalfayan was a long-time Guild member who was also a voting member of the Knifemaker's Guild. He retired some time in 2006, but I do not know his current status. His knives have been prolifically featured in the "Knives" annuals for many years. In the 1993 edition alone his work was features five times including a centerfold knife. Kalfayan's craftsmanship is simply incredible and has been referred to as one of the most under-rated makers in America. His grinding skills are phenomenal and t have been very few makers who could equal his talent in this area. Kalfayan's knives have become quite difficult to find as collector's are reluctant to part with them. Kalfayan's skill, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are altogether superb. You'll find very few knives built to this level of quality and beauty. This is a very special knife that presents a rare ownership opportunity. This particular knife is being sold on consignment and will not be sold for less than what it's worth. I'll offer it for a limited time and if it does not sell I'll simply purchase it myself.
