From my personal vintage jewelry collection: This is a magnificent wide necklace, bracelet, and earring set in a quite beautiful design, courtesy of one of my very favorite designers, Hobe'. Neither earring is signed, but the choker-style necklace and bracelet are signed on the backs of the gold-toned metalwork in familiar oval cartouches. This rhinestone scheme is one used often by this fine designer, but, as usual, he gives it its own personality. It is just gorgeous, and perfect for any occasion, elegant or casual. T is no doubt that all pieces constitute a matched set. Sometimes in a set like this, only 1 or 2 pieces are signed.This quite 3-dimensional, and heavy set happens to be a favorite of mine - I am partial to these wonderful pieces, and the design is so sparkly and elaborate, that I am reluctant to list it. But, sometimes we must share these amazing pieces with others, so more will know of the beauty created these many years ago.HUGE ,DAZZLING PURPLE AND CLEAR RHINESTONES .MEASURES 14 3/4" AT LONGEST LENGTH WITH A 3" ADJUSTABLE X 1" WIDE. IT IS SPLENDID ! All pieces are quite wide and weighty. The dazzling rhinestones consist of huge dark purple amethyst and lavender/lilac rounds, trimmed with smaller brilliantly-clear rounds, all faceted, prong-set, and mounted in smooth, shiny gold-toned metalwork. Jeweled up and down, the bracelet is so amazing with the rhinestones selected and positioned perfectly, so as to catch and refract each others' colors and light. This is only one of the many attributes that sets Hobe' apart as a designer, and this attribute is masterfully executed in this classic set. To me, this is Hobe' at his best & brightest.This sparkling bouquet of color and texture is set in a very beautiful and heavy well-made design on the bracelet. T is a substantial golden braid that runs the length of the bracelet, and the jeweled length of the choker/necklace. I see no stones missing. Amazingly, t appears to be only minimal (if any) wear to the larger colored stones and to the metalwork, any of which would be understandable, given the estimated age of the pieces. All stones look wonderful. All the stones are in good, clear condition. T appear to be a couple of the smallest rounds that arrear a bit darker than the others, but this fact certainly does not detract from the set's overall beauty.T is so much glitter and sparkle in this set, it simply looks marvelous for its estimated age!It is of excellent quality and is very wearable for its weight & size, as I have come to expect from this exceptional designer. It was apparently very well-cared-for by its previous owner(s). The gorgeous choker necklace measures approx. 16 inches end-to-end, including the adjustable extension chain. The width measures approx. 1 inch at its widest.Measuring approx. 6 3/4 inches long and 1 inch wide at the widest point, the bracelet is quite stunning. T is not a safety chain, but it does have a clasp that is nice and tight. The bracelet feels cool and smooth as it glides against the wrist.The magnificent and glamorous clipback earrings are the popular "climber" style, emulating old Hollywood at its heyday. Each measures approx. 1 1/4 inches by 1 inch at their longest/widest points.This is an unusual and beautiful wonderful Hobe' set that I hate parting with! You will not be disappointed in it! ***Pictures always make the pieces less brilliant & colorful than they are in real life!****All sales final.
