This victorian micro mosaic is just fabulous. Done in 14kt. bloomed gold and punch marked on the back under the crystal with fleur-dis-lis, possibly French. The locket is in great working order with crystal and hinge working great. Nice and large, the locket is 2 3/8" x 1 3/8". The floral micro mosaic is extremely fine in the lillies and surrounding tesserae. The condition of the mosaic is very good with only some surrounding tesserae missing. I am sure these could be replaced. The very bottom blue flower is broken, but enough remains in the tube, that you still see the star. Too the naked eye, the mosaic is gorgeous. Circa 1860-1880 this is one of the finest micro mosaics you will ever see. Don't let this one get away!! SEE PICS FOR BEST DETAILS....check out my other auctions, I always combine shipping!!!
