***VISIT OUR STORE FOR 100'S OF BUY IT NOW VINTAGE JEWELRY ITEMS**** Description This impressive vintage set consists of a necklace with matching clip earrings. The necklace is signed "Sherman", the earrings are unsigned but are quite obviously original to the necklace. (Yes, many Sherman earrings were not signed!) They are finely crafted featuring Sherman's typical use of high quality crystal rhinestones and metals. The settings are Japanned (black) and combined with the fiery Siam red rhinestones, create quite a striking contrast. A combination of Siam red and Red Aurora Borealis in an assortment of shapes and sizes form a fabulous design. Notice the unusual, large teardrop used in both the earrings and the necklace, giving them a 3 dimensional quality. The earrings have a beautiful, tiered design. This set is marked with the square cartouche. It is also one of the most desirable colors. It is in good vintage, pre owned condition. A ll of the rhinestones are present and very bright, the clip backs are secure and working well. The Japanned finish does show light wear to the backs as shown in the pics. To give you an idea of size, the center section in the necklace measures about 2 3/4" wide and drops down about 1 3/4" at the teardrop point. The total length of the necklace is 16 1/4" when laying flat from end to end. Each earring measures a nice, 1 7/8" long and 5/8" at the widest point. Item Lot Number: 3826 PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!!
