Offered here is a beautiful old sterling and gold bolo tie featuring a horse head in gold on a sterling hand engraved base, made by one of the biggest names in WESTERN SILVERSMITHING.....SUNSET TRAILS. Sunset Trails, in business since the 1940s, is still owned and operated by the Stanton Family, who over the years have acquired the SROUR COMPANY, H.S. MEANS, and finally in 1960, McCABE SILVERSMITHS. They still make some of the same fine designs that were made by their original makers back in the 1920s and 30s. This is a true CLASSIC piece!!! This unique bolo tie is made up of black and brown leather woven together and crimped with sterling ferrules and tipped with decorative custom made sterling tips. A more HANDSOME and desireable piece you will be hard-pressed to find. The back is marked "Sunset Trails STERLING 10K." This is the REAL THING!!!
