Spelter Figural Book Ends C. 1940 Lawn Jockey Bookends Search I am selling these book ends on consignment and the owner has given me all the details. They were made in the 1940s and are about 10 1/2" high. We believe they are made of Spelter. They are not marked, at least we can't find a mark! They both are in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures and both still have the hoops in their hands! One does have some paint lose on it's base, but really doesn't effect it. Hard to find one of these "Lawn Jockeys" and we are offering a pair. Each one weights about 3 1/2 pounds so the total shipping weight will be close to 8 pounds, including packaging.
