If you are a collector you'll want this 1914 Spencer Model No. 45H for your collection. If you already have one you'll probably want to upgrade to this one. It is in such excellent and clean condition. It has been well cared for.
As far as I can find t are only a few, very small, "fleabite" size chips in the paint. Those are mainly on the base. The rest of the microscope looks nearly new. The brass is literally untarnished. The Spencer Microscope No. 45H was made for medical and advanced laboratory work. It features an extra large stage with a vulcanized rubber coating. A laboratory technician from our local hospital took a look at it and confirmed that everything was in good working order. It comes in a polished mahogany case with all the extras seen in the photos. The microscope kit, including case , weighs 17 lbs. The microscope can be shipped by UPS Ground for about $30.
