Antique Pairpoint ? Steuben Spiral Controlled Bubble Ink Well Paper Weight Bottle This truly is a beautiful piece. Excellent craftsmanship of Pairpoint or Steuben, this piece not only is an ink well ( shows minimal eveidence of use with ink staining in control bubble on rim) it also serves as a paper weight. Weighing 2.25 pounds it is 5.5" high and the base's diameter is 3.25" and stopper's diameter is 2.25". The base is ground and unsigned. The shape of the stopper is superb and fits perfectly snug and balanced into the vessel. a finger can easily fit into the vessel forcleaning. there is no sickness in the glass. It is crystal clear and the control bubble pattern is flawless. A similar piece was sold here on ebay as a Steuben awhile back. I am not sure which factory made this but I am tending to think it is most likey Pairpoint. A TRUE COLLECTOR'S ITEM!! Successful bidder to pay shipping, handling & insurance. All sales are final.
